This is my first try in wire-wrapping. Great tutorial on etsy, with step-by-step pictures (I hope I'm allowed to post the link here, I'm only telling where I got the tute, not promoting anybody's etsy-shop). I'm not too good yet with wire-jewellery, so there are a few ends and wirepieces sticking out. Smart me made knots right in the back of the stone so that the back of my hand and wrist is now quite scratched scratched - yes I'll need to practise that, haha!
Also I think I might have been a bit generous with the sulfur to oxidise it.

Anyway, I enjoyed making it and (after putting resindrops onto the scratchiest bits) to wear it.

You've done a fantastic job. What type of wire are you working with? I love the color.

I used mainly copperwire and a little fine silver for the two swirls around the bead. I oxidised it using Ammonium Polysulfide (I think Liver of sulfur is more common, but for some reason I did not get it, but it works the same: a few drops into warm water and the dip the metal in. It'll oxidise and get an artificially antique-look).
