I made the Cold Shoulders capelet using a fuzzy purplish yarn.  I'm not entirely sure the kind of yarn, as I bought it in bulk at Big Lots, and it wasn't labeled.  It made for a very soft piece, and surprisingly warm.  I'm not a big fan of the type of yarn for crocheting though, as it can easily get tangled and has a lot of the fuzz wrapped around a thinner piece of thread.  I didn't make the pom poms for the ties as suggested by the pattern, just kept the ties simple crocheted chains.  I did block the piece, to help hold the shape of the collar.

I actually finished this some time ago, just forgot to take pictures until now!

That looks really good! The yarn looks like a Homespun-type.

I don't think I'd like it as much with pom poms, so you made a good call! It's really cute!
