Kairi (KH2) costume

So i want to make Kairi's pink dress outfit from Kingdom Hearts 2...but i've come across a small problem.  The dress is so simple, but i can't find a really good pattern for it.

i had been planning on making a pink dress in a light fabric that i would wear over a white cami or something, and i would make a black hood like in the picture.

i found a pattern on burda for a halter dress that kinda has the right neckline (except the V isn't deep enough), but doesn't go up to my size (their pattern goes to 44, and by their scale, i am a 48)

So my question is this:  should i try to resize the burda pattern or does someone have another pattern suggestion?  If i should use the Burda, it is important to note that this would be my first time resizing a pattern, and i don't know how to do that.
