I saw a photograph of plum poppies on Etsy and was inspired to make a dress. I wanted to do the appliques differently this time, with a more natural, organic feel. I made the stems and leaves 3 dimensional and the flower petals are layered and then have additional stitching to make it look even more like petals. The second dress is one I had in mind for a while. I've been wanting to do the gray and aqua together and some sort of lotus and after the poppies dress, I came up with this one.

Cute dresses on even cuter girls!  Cheesy

My favourite is the poppies dress. I love the colour and the shape of that one!

Well done! If only I had girls.... (gladly I do have nieces, ha!)

Very cute! I have both a 1 and 2 yr old daughter. I have been wanting to venture into making them clothes but am afraid to try, but these are adorable! How did you get the stems to look like that? And what fabric did you use for the applique? I really love how the leaves look. Great job.

It's been a while.... Your baby girls are getting so big! As always, they are rocking those hand-sewn dresses. When are you going to start sewing for big girls? LOL! Those extra flower details are just perfect. I thank you for posting those up close shots! They really show off the extra work nicely. You colour combo's are great, as usual. I think the necks are so neat looking.

I have to say that if find the items you sew to be very apppropriate (in a nation full of smutty clothing). You have a great eye for tasteful dress. I'd like to see you take a stab at little boy clothes..... creatively speaking, of course ;0P
Okay, enough of my blabber... Carry on with your fabulousness! xo

The dresses (and kids) are beautiful. The applique is super well done. They look classic and sophisticated yet appropriate for a little girl.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

Oh how inspiring! I'm just starting out learning how to sew (my newborn daughter is my inspiration) and I hope that in a few years I'll be able to come up with such elegant yet fun designs!
