Salut Coralie !!! Je crois qu'on n'est pas des tonnes à être françaises, mais il y a plusieurs "crafteuses" américaines ou anglaises vivant en France, et aussi des québecoises. Alors Bienvenue !!

Tu verras, l'anglais ça viendra surement vite si tu traines souvent sur les milliards de super sites en anglais (dont Crafster bien sur!), quant à moi en fait mon blog est carrément en anglais ! Je trouve que la communauté anglophone est plus interressante car tellement plus large bien sur ! (même si je lis aussi qq blogs en français)

Au fait, tu fais quoi, tricot, couture, perles ..?

je tricote, je fais aussi un peu de crochet, et je viens de commencer la couture. J'ai encore rien fait de super mais je m'entraine ! lol ce site est vraiment bien pour avoir de nouvelles idées et des astuces.

I'm @nna, French, living in Lyon. I can sew,knit and paint  but since I have to work full time, I don't have enough free time 
I love to find fabrics and clothes in "friperies" and other Emmaüs-like stores. And if I were rich, I'd would buy everything in La Droguerie

At least you have "La droguerie" in Lyon !! I've heard they have lots of foreign brand yarns (Noro..?). But well, maybe it's better for me that they're not here   
Emmaus is also one of my favorite places to get crafting materials, be it yarn or uber-cute vintage buttons. I don't have the patience to knit any more, but that would indeed be a great place for fabric too..

Oh, and btw, so glad to hear from another french knitter !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another french girl here! I'm living in America, Nashville. Before I was living in Paris, where I spent 6 years. I'm from Lille, Nothern France. My english is pretty good now so if one of you girls need help translating, let me know!
I'm 30, I am an artist (photography and video http://photocm.free.fr) and also a craft addict. I work on 1000 projects at the time : stuffed animals, clothes, purses, jewellry, macrame, knitting and many more.
I would be glad to speak with some french people for a change. I kind of miss my country...

Une autre francaise! Je vis aux USA a Nashville. Avant ca je vivais a Paris (6 ans). Je suis de Lille, Nord. Mon anglais est assez bon donc si l'une de vous a besoin d'aide pour une traduction, je peux aider.

I'm from Montpellier, been living in Paris for 7 years.
By now I live near Bastille.
I'm a graphic designer / web designer who seldom knit, crochet, sew and make things anyway else.
that's because I love clothing, and sometimes, even in Paris it's cheaper to make my own, and because I always loved to MAKE whatever had to be made.

I'm discovering Craftster, one topic at a time, and just discovered this one.
BTW thanx prunille for the vintage knitting patterns, I'm not into bikinis, but the cape is great, maybe when I have enough yarn, I'll make it, so you craftsters will recognize me when you meet me in the streets of Paris.

Sallut Hyena, comme tu me faisais des compliments sur mon anglais (je ne suis pas sûre qu'il le mérite d'ailleurs, a priori, c'est une espèce de mélange d'argot de forum et d'anglais scolaire...) je suis allée voir tes photos qui sont vraiment vraiment bien (moi de toutes façons, j'adore les gros plans de manière générale, et dans ton travail, c'est les gros plans que je préfère, aussi)
tu exposes ?

Bref, effectivement, j'ai besoin d'un chouya d'aide, peut-être : pour vous américains et français expatriés, est-ce que vous pourriez m'expliquer ce qu'est la 'Mod Podge' et s'il existe des produits français équivalents... ?
