July Birthday Swap (Sign up all month!)

Hi there!  I've just recently (like, a week ago) moved cross country to Alberta, Canada.  I'm turning the big 30 on July 28th.  I'm at least a 14 hour drive from anyone I know (other than my boyfriend, we moved together), so I need some birthday love.   Him, me, and our little silky terrier are moving into a beautiful, very empty apartment that I'm excited about decorating in my crafty style.  I don't have a job here (yet) but usually work in museums and heritage. I'm probably going to go back to school and do graphic design next year though.  In my spare time I belly dance and sew like a mofo.

Likes: vintage style, natural fabrics, buttons, green, earthy colours, rhinoceroses, cephalopods, forest themes (mushrooms, deer, trees etc), polka dots, stripes

Dislikes: pink, purple, neon, scenty things

Allergies: nothing serious but I have the most sensitive skin ever so body products (lotions, soap) are sketchy for me unless it is very gentle and totally unscented.

Hi crafty craftsters! My name is Autumn. I recently graduated from Western Oregon University with my bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in chemistry and moved with my boyfriend to Idaho to be with my mom while she goes under chemotherapy for stage 4 colon cancer. I've been studying ballet since I was itty-bitty and love performing, and will be auditioning for a local production of Rocky Horror Picture Show soon. We are in the process of adopting a greyhound (we'll have him or her in September!), and are looking for a new place, which I'm super excited to decorate! We're also very involved in our airsoft team, which we organize LARP games for based on the Fallout game series (we play raiders). Oh, and we home-brew our own wines and meads!
