I found this tutorial on transforming a T-Shirt into a one-shouldered ruffle top:  http://www.rufflesandstuff.com/2009/08/one-shouldered-ruffle-top.html  and decided to try it with an old stretched out T-Shirt.

It didn't work out quite right.  It looked fine until I put it on - the neck was huge and baggy.  I'm not going to bother trying to fix it, but I may try this again with a better fitting T-Shirt.

Thanks for sharing! I've been there before too, like when I tried to follow the Generation T tutorial on a wrap tee and it just was an oddly shaped piece of cloth - fortunately intact enough that I could use the fabric for another project. Just keep experimenting!
