Gorgeous!  I wouldn't want anyone to step on it though! (Unless I thoroughly inspected their feet and shoes first -- ha!)

This is so gorgeous. I've always wanted to try needle felting but all the books made it look like a hassle. Thank you for breaking this down! I want to try and make a rug now.  Wink

Yowza -  Thanks everyone for the positive feedback!  I'm glad the tutorial is intelligible.  I've had a fascination (obsession?) with making rugs since I was a kid, so I'm glad to spread the love Smiley

Really cool!!  I love anything that reminds me of Turkish evil eye charms.  I'm guessing they were your inspiration for the colors and pattern?

So beautiful - too beautiful to walk on!  It looks like peacock feathers to me.

Yes, yes, yes... I've been really in love with nazars lately and peacocks forever, so those motifs and colors were definitely in my mind as I was working.  Happy accident that all my scrap yarn all the right colors.

How clever! That's a very good use of leftover bits of wool yarn.

What a brilliant idea and beautifully executed! The tutorial is so easy to understand (including the layers) that I might even be able to do this!
