I've finally got round to painting a few more t-shirts!

Inspired by www.store.raygunrobyn.com, I started off by painting Serenity from Joss Whedon's Firefly.
I did this by printing a picture of the ship, cutting it out and using it as a stencil. I then went back and freehanded the details.

I then did the same for the Serenity logo on the back.

Whilst painting these, my husband suggested I should put a couple of Klingon Birds of Prey (from Star Trek, in case you're wondering) in the picture. 'Cool idea' I thought but sadly I was out of room. However I still had another t-shirt...

A Klingon space ship on a t-shirt! It was painted in much the same way as Serenity but instead of going back and painting in the details, I left it plain because, as my husband said, it's cloaked!

And on the back...

These are awesome - especially the bird of prey because it's tough to find a cool Star Trek shirt!

Thank you Grin

I agree, I went to a comic book convention a few weeks ago, I would have brought so many t-shirts - but they were all mens sizes  Angry

I really love the Bird of Prey shirt, especially the Klingon Empire logo on the back.  Can I ask how you got that great "bloody" effect?  It looks like paintbrush dabbing but I'm not sure. Smiley

Thank you for all the positive comments! Sorry for the late reply - I've only just discovered the 'notify' button!

Yes the blood splatter effect is created by using an old, dry paintbrush and dabbing paint on. I also flick paint at the shirt too which is loads of fun but murder on carpets!
