after the initial shock and awe of becoming engaged after 8 years together (oct 2009) the next immediate thought was omg! i get to craft my wedding!! then we set a date 9*17*11 (less than 100 days)
it took almost 16 months to find a place that was affordable place that would allow us to have an outside caterer and have our ceremony outside, with the option of inside incase of rain. we finally have catering and a venue cake has been ordered and next up is finding a dj. in the mean time this is where im at in crafting.
this is my bouquet. no flowers.

dried golden and black beard wheat, red dyed cattails, red sparkle tingting, other various red dried florals with fake red berries wrapped with burlap and then a red gingham ribbon and a fleur di lis charm to match the mens boutounierres (we met in scouts over 10 years ago so its a nod to that.)
moss letters

these are for the display im making on the big empty wall of the venue, L - for lauren (thats me) and B- for Bill, they'll habg on the wall with some more gingham ribbon between with pictures of us growing up, me on one end and him on the other eventually leading up to when we met and through our 10+ years together and current pics. with my scrapbooks of our trips on a table below.
Bridesmaids pomanders

three of these babies for my bridesmaids. each one is slightly different. the flower is made from a skirt i got for cheap at the goodwill.
ring basket

this onyl cost me about $3 to make. the baset was only two, the fabric was left over from my card box and guest book box. (thats another post i dont have a pic with me at work of those yet) under the fabric is plastic bags (im recycling) with left over from other projects not sure if were going to actually put the rings in there though.
mothers corsages

these have the same flower are the pomanders. im letting the moms decide if they want it as a pin or a corsage with elastic. im debating if i want to make a mini version for my hair.
ive actually got a ton more so ill be back with other posts.
