I was feeling a bit nervous posting this up after seeing all the beautifully professional work that's been popping up on this board haha. Some gorgeous creations fellow crafters!

I'm also not sure if this is the proper place for it, perhaps the jewelry board would be more appropriate but it does have some poly clay art in it so this'll have to do.

I recently found an old watch a store near my place, $1 per watch, I figured why not? I loved the frame so I took it apart and made this:

The mushroom and the piping is poly clay.

Also took some progress shots this time around so here they are:

Hope you enjoyed it! All cc is welcome Smiley

Thanks for looking!

That is LOVELY.  Grin It looks very steampunk. I would definitely wear it.

Very nice!  Is there resin or another clear liquid inside the cell of the watch?--can't tell from the pic.

Oops, just had another look after posting this and *all* your pics had popped in, so looks like there isn't any resin--not that it would be necessary at all, just that it's so prevalent these days.

Thank you all Smiley Diane as you have mentioned, nope there isn't any resin or liquid clay, I'm actually not familiar with how to use either only the basics of Sculpey.
