UPDATE: This is the cover finished! The rest of the finished pages are in this post...or here http://www.flickr.com/photos/phizzy/sets/72157627137355132 Smiley

Just finished preparing this altered book for Glastonbury Festival next week. So excited! Grin

It's an old 1970's Ladybird book on leaves that I picked up for 1. Bit dearer that the original 18p it cost! I'm going to alter the cover more after the festival since it'll only get scuffed up in my bag over the weekend no doubt!

I thought it might be fun to share some 'before' photos. I've condensed the photos to save loading them all up individually, but if anyone would like me to get proper pics of the backgrounds for use with ATC's or other projects, just let me know and I can get proper photos up for you Smiley

This is inside the front cover

And just the plain cover so far

The link to the full set on flickr is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/phizzy/sets/72157626835422517

Thanks for looking! I can't wait to see how this turns out, I'll have to remember to load yet more photos here when it's done! Cheesy

Wow - cool bands.

I went to the Redding Festival eons ago with my sis on our first trip to the UK. All I remember is freezing rain (it was August? I think), mud puddles,  (nice) skinheads, more mud, lots of beer and lots of rain. Everyone knew we were Americans because we were dressed East Coast-style for the summer - shorts, tee shirts and sandals. And my sister, who worked in radio at the time, made me stay until the bitter end to see the Sugarcubes - her new fave band. I hung out in the VIP tent with Gay Bikers on Acid (the band) because it was warm there.

Have fun!

A few finished pages. All of the paper bits and bobs I used were from the festival guide, daily newspaper or handouts Smiley

I met Marcus Bonfante and had a lovely chat with him. Check out his lovely message! Grin
