Ricki was feeling a little lonely being the only microbe on the block so we knitted her up a friend. This is Collie.

They're besties now Cheesy

I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

I think I posted some crafty pictures before, so instead here are some from Trevor's trip to the Visitor Center at my work. He has been on campus too, but I don't think I'm allowed to take pictures there. The Visitor Center is much more exciting than my office building anyway....

The model space shuttle deploying Hubble, almost bear-sized...

And the much larger Apollo module in the Rocket Garden!

There are more pics in his blog: http://trevorgreentravels.blogspot.com/2011/07/goddard-space-flight-center.html

He is resting up this afternoon, tomorrow we are going out on the Sae Hrafn (viking longship), and everyone has to help row!

It was a beautiful, sunny evening so we took a stroll down to the local park. I've actually only ever jogged through it, not taken my time to check it out so it was a nice new experience thanks to Ricki.

Looking out over the war memorial...

So I finally was able to get pictures uploaded from Comic-Con.  I don't want to ruin the surprise for abuckshort.  Here's a couple of pictures that I took of Hatty.  :-)

At our first panel!

I can't believe it's a new week already.  I always seem to be a day behind with these challenges!

A few days ago Pippi helped me reorganize and fetch supplies from my towering closet of craftiness.
