That is so funny!

BTW...I am not even a part of this swap, but I giggle every time I see this stuffie!  He makes me laugh for some reason.

Pippi enjoyed her trip to the State Fair!  It was especially nice because we got to go on a weekday when it wasn't super crowded.  It was HOT though!

Geared up and ready to go!

On the express bus.

                                                                              Our favorite fair food...cheese curds!

We played games...Pippi even won a prize to take home!

That looks so cool! I want to go to Wink.

Just on a happy note. I received my Pottermore mail today.

*happy*happy*

And I'm pretty sure my pictures will arrive Monday, so I can start the picture book. But first up (tomorrow though) lesson preparations! We had a tough dance lesson this morning (first of the season) and yikes, my legs hurt!

Now that the power is back, Trevor has updated his blog with his adventures during Hurricane Irene: http://trevorgreentravels.blogspot.com/2011/09/hurricane-irene.html.

Today he went to see some Civil War sites near the city. There are some forts on the Potomac river that were used to protect the city from attack by water.

Entering Fort Washington...

The "little" cannons...

Trevor has a busy weekend and will be updating his blog with lots more pictures over the next few days.

Trevor is going on so many cool adventures and glad he was helpful during the storm, brilliant lanterns.

I am glad they are only the little cannons, otherwise they might be concerning...lol...hehehehe...

The gate way is awesomely impressive!

Pippi looked like she had fun at the brilliant looking fair, wish we had fairs that looked as fun as that.

Tesla wanted to see mountains so yesterday I took her on the highest peek in this area (873 meters). It's called Mileovka but people call it Thunder Mountain. When Alexander von Humboldt went there he said that the view from the top of Thunder Mountain is the third most beautiful one in the world. The land changed a lot since then but the view is pretty anyway Smiley
But we were unlucky. First, the battery in my camera died before I was able to take a picture with Tesla, so she doesn't have a proof she really was there. But she really was! Grin And the sky was dark and it was foggy so the view could have been better. But it was a nice trip anyway and we had Kofola on the top! Grin
So here's the only photo I managed to take:

Oh, and Tesla found a geocache there! ^^
