Yesterday Gus was a trooper. He helped us organize, sort and price out the items for our upcoming garage sale. The sale is going toward my medical bills and upcoming surgery costs but was 4 hours of hot, miserable work in my mom's garage in sweltering July Florida heat. Here is just ONE of the tables of items we have. There are two more tables plus boxes of things too!

But we did really good and just about everything is sorted, priced and ready for the sale next weekend! Really hoping for a good turn-out and lots of money since every little bit helps right now! We had several people donate items to the sale so it's a wide variety of items.

I'm leaving tomorrow and coming back in two weeks so I won't be able to write in the forum until then. But we will bring loads of photos (I hope)! Smiley

I've been hard at work sewing for my trip on Thursday, so my husband told me it was time for a break. He surprised us with a trip to the train museum in Ogden! It's very cool - they have trains you can climb on and explore, including an army hospital car and the 2002 Olympic torch car. Of course Cookie came along Smiley

Here he is in front of the museum, an old Union Pacific railway station.

With a 150 year old steam engine.

Trevor got to check out the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens this morning:

He also got to stamp his passport with the National Park stamp at the visitor center. There are more pictures on his blog: http://trevorgreentravels.blogspot.com/

Mel and Tom headed to the California State Fair today!

Astride a golden bear just inside the Fair gates.  Holding on for dear life...

This calf is 1 minute old - born literally 1 minute before this picture was taken. We just happened to wander into the animal nursery at the right time to view this little miracle. I'll spare you the birthing video...

Can you spot the koalas among the flowers and plants at the entry to the California Garden exhibit?
