This is my favourite cushion.
I hand-made a rubber stamb for each letter of the alphabet (in 2 different sizes!) and I stamped the fabric with the lyrics of some songs I like. (In this view you can see U2 and Pixies! - the other side is Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam and New Order). Then I sewed the cushion. I spent 1 day in the whole process.
Bye!  Kiss

very cool, and good choice of music, too!

How'd you keep the lines so straight???

I really like that! That's looks so great! You did a fantastic job on it. I'm curious about how you hand-made the rubber stamps.

That is neat, but I still don't undestand how you understood enough of Eddie Vedder's words to put on a pillow.  Amazing.

thank you all! Im so happy you liked it!
first: english is not my first language (Im from Brazil!), so Ill try to answer your questions with my poor vocabulary - sorry !  Wink

How'd you keep the lines so straight???
well, to keep the lines straight I used a long wood ruler. I have marked the correct position of each line. Then fixed the ruler in that positions and start writing... and on and on...

I'm curious about how you hand-made the rubber stamps.
I printed the characters from my computer (in the size I wanted to use). Then I fixed (with glue) the printed paper on a sheet of thin rubber - in Brazil its called E.V.A. (I really dont know how it is in english... but it can also be done in cork). I just cut the characters, painted with a brush and stamped the fabric. Is it clear? My english sucks!

That is neat, but I still don't undestand how you understood enough of Eddie Vedder's words to put on a pillow. Amazing.
yeah, I think this was the hardest part of the job...  Grin
dont know if its correct. I think I crated myself some lines... hehe  Wink

and the bad news: my mother accidentally destroid all my character rubber-stamps ... so if I want to do it again... oh, hell...

This would also be cool for something bigger like a shower or window curtain or even a bedsheet.
