Would they be any other kind?   Grin   A bird nesting bag is a GREAT idea!  Do you just set it outside?

I would really love to join in on this round but I think I only have like black, white and red yarn lol. Will have to think on this one.

I would love to receive that combo Cheesy

Oh really? Maybe we could be partners! Okay I'm signing up lol!

Heck yeah!  I have a son who is in desperate need of crochet-love.  It is easy to make things from my daughter (and I do all the time) but I think he is sick of receiving Amigurumi animals...lol.  He is 16.

Cross fingers for partnering!

Glad you joined Smiley

OhMyGoodness!  I'm in!

And after trying a couple of times, I have to say the magic ring method (I youtubed, i admit) works best for me.  Yay!

Hmmmmm... I think that could be arranged Wink

And, as for the nesting bag, it gets hung outside during the nesting season. You can also toss the bits on the ground, but I have a lot of cats that wander my neighborhood, and I don't want to give them any extra bird-stalking advantage... Next year, I'm hoping to have enough bits of yarn, ribbon, etc. to hang a few bags around the school I teach at. There is a hillside that is packed with bird-sheltering bushes, so I'd bet the nesting bags would have plenty of visitors!

Well,  mine are all done unless my partners want the variegated twist.  This swap was an awesome scrap-buster!  I am so glad I joined.

Well hopefully Beautifully Frayed will be one of my partners so I can go ahead and make the GDs for her. I just have to see if I have any other scrap yarns anywhere, lol

Sorta OT, but does anyone else automatically think of the bad word when they see "GD"?

When I was in college, if you didn't belong to a fraternity or sorority, you were known as a GDI... the "I" stands for "Independent," so that's what I always think of when I see GD Smiley  But we all know we mean the nice version of GD Grin

Sorry I've been away from the discussion for a bit...crazy over here...and not much done (really) to show for chasing my tail like a silly doggie.  =]

I see the Enabler-and our fearless leader-has brought another to the 'darkside'...*heehee*  Wink

Yay for more participants!  I may have color preferences and yarn ideas(for one project)...but hope ya'all know that I like all kinds of red heart yarns/colors/...feel free to destash n use what you would LiKe to make!!  Black/white/red yarns sounds like a great idea for a Gds blanket...Very Dale Earnhardt inspired...=] *sorry, I'ma fan!*

Can I change mine to three? I just got a request for one of these blankets from my brother.
