I love this little guy, he looks so bad =) The octopus you all might remember I'd done before but this time I added goggles to him, I think this one is much better...everyone keeps calling him adorable though, not sure I like that.

The owl is completely freakin' gorgeous.  I find the octopus more disturbing thaqn adorable -- do you like that better?  8^)

you guys rock! It's nice to hear something besides the octopus is adorable, really lol

My owl was inspired by the great horned owl, a native for us here in AZ, is the swap avatar a great horned owl as well? I felt like I was taking the best features of that species to use in this, with, you know, a dash of steampunk thrown in lol I actually did a study of the owl about 2-3 moths ago and made my sketches, then made him yesterday and today, was surprised how much of the inspiration of him was still in me after all that time  Grin
