I made this felted bag for my partner in the IYP swap.

I used the Ashling Tote pattern from this Etsy shop... http://www.etsy.com/shop/lilibethsgarden?ref=seller_info ...and Cascade 220. It was a pretty quick and easy project and I had fun with the embroidery Smiley. The bag is on the small side and if I were to make it again, I'd probably lengthen the straps just a bit.

Here's a pre-felting shot...

Thanks for looking!

hey, that's my bag... I was the lucky partner.... and it is WONDERFUL....actually the PERFECT size for going out and about.....the straps are fine, a little longer may make it a tad easier for slipping on your shoulder, but with them the way they are I can carry it OR put it on my shoulder.... The color of the bag is so pretty, and the embellishing/embroidery adds that extra touch that makes it gorgeous!!!

thanks Lime .... you are the best....BCF..E
