I made this afghan/blanket last year for the newest OSU Buckeye in my family.  I used Red Heart yarn in the closest colors I could find for Scarlet and Gray.  I make the pattern myself, using the basic granny square my own grandmother had taught me years ago, and alternating colors.  I love how it turned out.  A great gift idea for any Ohio State Buckeye fans out there!

I've made a few of those with scrap yarn.  Yours is prettier.  You gave me an idea.  Those would make great Christmas gifts in Green Bay Packers green and gold.
