Hello.  I just finished knitting and machine felting a purse.  I would like to add a little design on the outside and am wondering if it is ok/will it work to add an iron on patch to felt or if its better off to sew it on?

Thanks!

i suspect you could iron it on.  i doubt it would damage the felted object.  however - depending on the thickness of the felt and thickness of the patch - you might have a hard time getting sufficient heat to get a good bond.  if it were me, i'd probably sew it on.
