Wow, I'm actually a bit surprised how popular Pippi seems to be and how many of you know her! But all the nicer that way. Smiley
For me at least Pippi was one of my childhood heroes and I guess that goes for many other girls also. I love her huge name: Pippilotta Delicatessa Windowshade Mackrelmint Ephraim's Daughter Longstocking.

oh i love Pippi!  loved the books as a child, even dressed up as her for halloween one year!  (wire hanger on my head to stick out the braids!)
great work, she's perfect  Grin
I remember also dressing up as Pippi for some costume party. And my mom used somewhat same system to get my braids up.  Grin

When I was still acting in theater I was also in a play that was about Pippi. I played the strict lady from the social services (?) who wants to adopt Pippi - in Finnish her name is Mrs. Pratamo but I don't know her name in English. Does someone know who I am talking about?

You have made her really nicely. I wish I could make something like that also.

Oh I hope you are going to sell a pattern! One of my best friends is a red head and we are big Pippi fans, I've been looking for a project to do for her birthday in August and this would be perfect!

Unfortunately I have not made a pattern for this one... :/ But I liked her so much that it's very possible that I will make another one when I have time and then I will write down the pattern also. I have vacation coming soon so I could try to make it then. Smiley
