My partner has received so I can post about my latest work!



I made this for celticgoddess in the latest hoopla swap. The initial was not my design, but rather interpreted from the image here:

I decided that I did not wish to use backstitch on the outline of the E because of all the rounded bits, so I tried couching. It was so easy to do and turned out quite well I think. It's hard to see, but there is a contrasting color tacking down the main floss. Here you can see the use of 5 different greens. I think I used 7 or 8 different shades in all.


I loved the little bear and bees. I know the colors show a bit black and yellow, but it's a dark green and an almost pea green.

Overall I wish I could have kept this for myself Wink It was a fun one to stitch and I love all the green.
