This is a Father's Day gift for my husband who likes to use this phrase whenever one of the kids is getting a little too whiny.  I thought it would bring a little class to his work bench area in the garage.  He thought it could also apply to co-workers and is considering putting it in his office.

I'm usually an embroiderer, but cross stitch seemed like the right medium for this.  I've never done counted cross stitch before, not sure if I'll do it again.  Let me tell ya, I've got a new found respect for you x-stitchers of the world.  Graph paper, math, figuring stitch size in relation to aida counts in relation to size of frame, number of strands of floss for coverage...that's alot of prep.  Then the whole thing can get thrown off when you're stitching just because of a little miscount.  Yikes, let me trace a pattern on my fabric where I can just follow the lines with any stitch I want, so much easier for me.

Thanks for looking!

Hee hee! Great stuff-your stitching is very clean. I like the border.
