My sister's bridal shower was last week, and I wanted to make something nice and unique for her so I came up with a simple idea: Napkin rings that look like engagement rings. So I set out to get some metallic card stock that my printer could take (silver because she can't stand gold...  Roll Eyes) and after several attempts came up with a good template and construction strategy.

Thank you ladies!

Not really Undecided. I didn't mean for the ring itself to be sturdy, just wanted it to be strong enough to hold the diamond upright. Now, the diamond was not rock hard, but after it was folded and its sides glued on, I had no problems with it. I wouldn't have expected more from a single card stock sheet that cost about one dollar and was large enough to yield 70 of these babies. Yup, the cost of making 70 rings was less than 2 bucks (including the glue).

What a cute idea!  They look great!  I think I would've slipped mine off of my napkin and onto my finger for fun. Smiley
