Beautiful work everyone.  I love that minty green merino/bamboo yarn.  It does look totally squishable.

This week, I spun this:

into this:

It's about 2.7 ounces of BFL and firestar, and about 250 yards, if I remember correctly.

Wow you guys!  These are all gorgeous.  Zombie queen, I love how fun that yarn is!  It's got to be my fav so far this week.
I wish I had more time to spin right now!!  2 weeks 2 days until fibre week though!!  A whole week dedicated to fiber and yarn making, without interruption!

I started into the world of dyeing my own fiber!

I started off with some lemon-lime koolaid and some raspberry ice. They came out very pale but I like them. The singles were very bright and colorful but the plyed yarn was muted and subtle. I tried Najavo plying for the first time on these singles and I am fairly proud of the evenness(even though its a little over spun.

Absolutely stunning yarns this week!!  Fiber Friday really covers all the bases this week -- rustic yarn spun in the grease, refined yarns, art yarn...yum!!!

I have nothing finished this week, but am working on a corespun tussah silk.

Awesome colors this week! A lot of bright ones, love it!

I finished yarn this week, but Friday was my birthday so I spent the whole day kid free out in the city, it was awesome!  Cheesy Grin I don't even know what happened to Saturday haha Anyways here is my yarn this week!

274 yards of sport weight wool, but some of the bright green is cotswold curls. I died both with neon easter egg dye
