This is my first time posting a project of mine on the boards other than in the appropriate swap gallery. I am really nervous but here it goes.....

This is an embroidered piece I made for Pixiefirefly for the Beatles Swap. Her favorite song was Eleanor Rigby so I used a portion of the lyrics and settled on an idea of a psychedelic cameo.

This is a pic of after the design was drawn. I used fabric markers to color in the design and then stitched around each color with matching thread.

This next pic is after all the psychedelic design is colored in. I am now ready to start the actual embroidering.

This last pic is after all the stitching is completed. I outlined the silhouette in black but the inside stitches are color coordinated. I hope you like it.

I love this so much. It's added to my wist. My favorite Beatles song is Eleanor Rigby too. The quote was a perfect choice. You did a beautiful job, such a creative idea.

This piece is gorgeous!!  I love it! Not my favorite Beatles song but still so wonderful.  I keep thinking I want to try a piece with lots of satin stitch like that...  but its scary!  Wink
