Hi there!
Found the new Denyse Schmidt fabric range at my local Spotlight recently. Was tempted to buy a metre of each design...so beautiful. It has a retro vibe. It is called "picnics and fairgrounds". I think a spiderweb style quilt would suit it perfectly. And....it was on special!

Here's a link to the flickr group so you can check out all the lovely colourshttp://www.flickr.com/groups/dsquiltspicnic/pool/

PS I do not work for Spotlight, and usually come out of there empty handed and rather sad about living so far away from any decent fabric stores. So I thought I would share this happy discovery with you all!

I really like the reds.

They had some really nice travel prints on clearance when I was there on Tues. Hopefully they still have them next time I'm there

I have to admit, I don't usually buy full priced fabric at spotlight, unless it is for a particular project. You will find me in the discount corner or  with my head in the bargain bin!

The only time I can persuade DP to take me out to the closest Spotlight is when I need something in particular that I can't scrounge up at Kmart. Yes, my LYS is Kmart... is that sad?
