I am new to knitting (less than a year) and just learned how to knit in the round with dpns.  I love it and can't stop!  I knitted this for my partner H00lie for the Dia de los Muertos swap.

I used a pattern from the Book Knit Wits that is actually supposed to be the body of a ninja.  This is a great book for a novice knitter like me.

After stuffing, I sewed on 2 fabric daisies for eyes and glued on felt and brads for the other features.  I then used fabric paints for embellishment.

Thanks for looking!

When I clicked on the image from the home page I didn't expect to be directed to the knitting board. What a clever and original idea. I just love it. The use of flowers for the eyes is brilliant. Great job!!
