Nice first pair! And good job lining up the stripes to make identical socks I didn't bother with that when I knit my first self striping pair.

My niece's socks are done and I'm making progress with the heelix. The size seems better now when I've knitted a bit, but I made extra decreases just to make sure.

Your socks seem very cool. I love the spirals. Your niece's must knit nice and quickly being so small!

Yeah, her socks takes 2-3 days per sock depending on how much I knit. I've knit some identical and some... not so much. I like matching but different socks. I'm currently wearing the first pair I made for me, it's from self striping yarn but they're not identical. Another pair I really love was knit from a sushi sock roll and they're not identical at all. The first starts off red at the top of the leg, changes over to orange and yellow over the heel and gusset and then turns green halfway down the foot. The second one starts off teal (I snipped off some green since there was lots of green) turns purple and then red again with a bit of orange and yellow at the toes. Lovely yarn to work with since the colour shifts are so slow.

I've bought a sock roll for identical socks too, but I haven't started to knit from it yet. I haven't decided on a pattern yet... But sock rolls are really nice to knit from. I like that there's no tangle or balls of yarn escaping...

I can't believe there are only a couple weeks left! Mr. SciFunk has a birthday coming up, so I have to do some crafty stuff for him, which means my Triton socks are on hold for a bit. I don't know that I'll finish them in time, but I'm trying.

This must be the summer for knitting socks!
I'm not a fan of regular length socks...I prefer anklets

Pattern: An Anklet A Day... (available on Ravelry...it's a super easy pattern to work with!)
Yarn: Plymouth Happy Feet Yarn in colourway number 10 (90% superwash merino and 10% nylon)
Comments: One 50 g/192 yd skein was enough to knit a pair of ankle length socks and I had ~ 5 yards of yarn leftover!

Another pair I knitted this summer is a hybrid of the "An Anklet A Day..." with a lace repeat in the instep!  I found a lace pattern I liked in my Vogueknitting Stitch-A-Day calendar and voila...another pair of socks
