SciFunk, your socks look fab!  I adore the colorway. Grin

I really like it too. I didn't want to do a plain color, but I was having difficulty finding a yarn that I thought would be mannish enough. They turned out better than I expected in that regard.

My man picked out the sock yarn I'm using. He's quite fond of bright colours and doesn't mind a bit of hot pink to spice things up.

Lucky! I get to choose between white, gray, or Clemson orange (for game day only) when I make him socks.

I've finally gotten around to taking pictures of my socks.

This is a basic pattern found in knitted socks by Anna Tillman with knitpicks yarn and is the only pair that is 100% finished

The I have these that are from a pattern that I found on Ravelry...I'll look up the name later. I'm not super thrilled about the way the pattern is written which may be partially why I haven't started on the second but it does look gorgeous when finished! It has a neat slip stitch heel.

And just a random both socks together picture

How fun! I want to play!
I just finished my first pair of sock and have started on my second.
I'll post pictures and the pattern links today or tomorrow.

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Nice inspiration, clumsy_momma! I've turned the heels on my super fluffy socks, so now I'm just knitting the cuffs until each skein runs out of yarn. I'm definitely doing the Triton socks next, we'll see if I start those before finishing the fluffy ones.

Second sock is moving slowly, but I knitted some in the car when we went sightseeing. I also very nearly lost sock number one in a parking lot. When we went back to the car I saw something on the ground. "Hey a sock... waitaminute. MY SOCK!!!" It survived and it doesn't look like it was run over. Phew... Note to self: keep the effing sock safely tucked into the knitting bag, don't mess with it and accidentally drop it.

I finally finished a pair of socks! They are 2 needle socks from http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/kp2.html. It's a really easy pattern and I really enjoyed working on it. They are a little large, but super comfy! I used Dark Horse Yarns "Fantasy" in Grey. It's a nylon/acrylic blend and it knits really nicely. Here are some photos!

Action shot!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!
