*cheers on*

I had to rip back the toe on my heelix sock so I'm definitely not going to be done with that on time Smiley But it will get done eventually and it's a fun sock to knit. And the ripping back part was not the patterns fault... I improvised my own toe...

I'm stuck on my gussets. I've picked up the stitches on the left hand side of both socks, but now I'm all messed up and frustrated about the right side so it's break time.

Sometimes it's best to step away for a bit and work on something else Tongue  I had issues working on my current pair of socks (aradena) and figured I needed to knit a couple of dishcloths for a change Roll Eyes

beccabadger, your socks look soooooo cozy!

I'm stuck on my gussets. I've picked up the stitches on the left hand side of both socks, but now I'm all messed up and frustrated about the right side so it's break time.
Don't fret and keep on trying!!! (with break times...break times are must!)  I am still working on the same pair of socks since the beginning of this sockalong (I know...a bit pathetic)!  But everytime I see a new pair of socks posted I think, I can do this!!!  And I keep wrestling that pointy octopus!!!!

Well, I may get one of another pair of socks done by the end of today, but I certainly won't get the whole pair done unless I get very bored!

Well our summer sock term has sadly come to a close. Cry  On happy news, I have goodies for everyone who posted a completed pair of socks during this time. Grin   If you PM me your address, I'll get your sock yarn package out to you!  THANK YOU everyone for such a helpful and inspirational summer sock session. Kiss

And because I've had PMs and requests about continuing, I'm going to change this thread title to Craftster Sockalong 2011. I look forward to seeing more socks! Grin

That's so awesome of you to have a package for everyone who completed a sock! I bought myself some fancy Noro sock yarn for my next pair as my own reward for getting so far. Sadly, I didn't finish my socks on time because I was playing Gears of War 3 with fh.. but he's buying me sock yarn since it's his fault I didn't finish Cheesy Screw flowers, this girl wants yarn Cheesy:D

Awww, I thought I'd have until midnight! I sleep during the day, so I only just finished my first ever pair of knitted socks. I learned SOOOOO much with this challenge! I learned how to knit in the round, how to knit two toe-up socks at once on a single circular needle (the person who figured it out is a genius and deserves a Nobel prize!), how to do short rows, how to do a super-stretchy bind-off, and how NOT to gauge a size change with an increase in needle size Tongue They turned out too small for me, but thankfully I know someone with little feet! I wish, however, that I'd taken the time to learn jogless stripes.

Thanks PinkLeo for issuing this challenge! It really got me off my... hands? The entire reason I took up knitting was to learn the art of the sock Tongue
