Complete with a spare key to the TARDIS, here is my version of River Song's diary. I usually make wrap-style journals with leather covers, but I wanted to try something different. It's just a new excuse to use the free-motion foot on my sewing machine. Wink

I used medieval long-stitch. With leather, I punch the holes in the cover before stitching...couldn't do that with fabric, I had to guess at the spacing, but it doesn't look too bad. I did make one group of stitches longer than the other (again).  Tongue  'Measure twice, punch once' ought to be my new mantra.

There are 240 sheets (480 pages) of natural-colored writing paper. The overall measurements are 8"x6"x2".

I just love this screen-printed fabric! It's like the view from the TARDIS windows.  Cheesy

Thanks for looking!

From another Doctor Who lover, this is awesome!
River Song is also my favourite character, I've been waiting eagerly to see how her storyline pans out. I've been admiring her journal too, I love your take on it  Grin

That is gorgeous, I would totally write spoilers in that! The inside fabric is perfect! River Song has really grown on me as a character.
