Hi there! I just wanted to share a little birdie I made with you.

This lil' chickadee was made out of some bits of felt I had and scraps from an old gray tee shirt. I was struck with inspiration at Christmas time when I really wanted to make some kind of a satchel filled with balsam fir needles (I love that smell!). I decided to think outside of the box! He's kind of patternless and made up on the spot; I'm actually rather surprised he came out as symmetrical as he did.

I wish I could share how wonderful he smells! It was especially nice to have him for the 6 months I was living in Missouri, far away from my beloved balsam firs. Thanks for looking!

He's sweet, and if he smells of home, that must be amazing too. I do like your made up on the spot pattern, you could do a whole range of different birds if you have that much skill with patterns.
