Hehe that VW bus is very cool! Very OGD too!

My hoop to skittlebub was due to be delivered today....I've been excited all day....and it looks like she must have been out all day as it's still scheduled for delivery at 10:30pm! 

Yes I was out all day. I left at 11am & it wasn't there yet, headed to the post office to send kwiltykates hoop & some other swaps, then the kiddies play date, then dinner for my birthday, then got home at 10pm & it was sitting in the letterbox. I love it. I'm just resizing the pictures now to post them up

I received my hoop from Robinpich a few days ago. Life has kept me from posting until now. Sorry for the delay Robin it's lovely!

Now that I've returned to being human (i.e. showered ) after karate class, I can now post pictures of the hoopla I received from the most wonderful OGD today!

First my piece, all I have to say is WOW! It's AMAZING! It has a mixture of most all of my themes that I listed and a bit more.

There's a gnome, a buddha, my favorite constellation Orion, flowers, my initials, OGD's initials, Ohm, koi, a snitch (!!), and lots of inspirational words. I am in awe of the time and thought that went into this piece.



The fabric in the background is what she wrapped my hoop in!


And she stitched up the cutest little hoop for my daughter! I have to tell you all that my daughter absolutely squealed with delight when she unwrapped it! Isn't it darling??!



Please forgive the chocolate milk mustache.

TroubleT... I'm so glad that you and your daughter liked your hoops..... yours was with out a doubt a blast to stitch up..... I was stitching as I was thinking, then had to stalk you some more, then thought and stitched some more....and so on and so on....... I really had NO PLAN from the beginning, I guess I realized I was done when I had run out of room......

What an awesome couple of hoops!!! I love the oblong one OGD how beautiful! Also gotta love Rainbow Bright, I mean, really who doesn't?! This is so cool!

OGD, you blow me away every time I see your work. I really like the blank space in the hoop, I think blank space (or plain colours in quilting) are way too much overloooked, it adds so much more to the design by drawing your attention to the amazing embroidery you have done. Wow! Wisted
