Wow! Is that water color? I'm going have to try using acrylics and water colors. Cheesy

That autisim hoop is really awesome!  Great work!  I've been wondering about crayon tinting and watercolors for a while too.  Are there any REALLY GOOD tutorials on crayon tinting?  I googled it and got confused.  :/

Yay  glad you liked it!

To answer the questions, no it's not water color it's actually sharpies and rubbing alcohol. It was really fun to do. It was really cool to watch the colors flow/change as time went on.

The sharpie thing is really cool to do.... I'm a Montessori teacher and last year I had my kids each do one and then turned it into a quilted wall hanging.... When I get home I'll see if I can dig up a picture to show you guys....

I also did a tute for finishing up the back of hoops, if you look on the needle work board, it's on the top..... I'm on my phone right now, I'll post the lnk when I get to a computer.

Thanks again gemerriffic, I love my hoop!!

I just got home to find my Dita Von Teese hoop from amnesia!! I love all the texture on it from the tassels and the ribbon flower, and the glittery fabric too. I'm a sucker for glitter ^_^
