I love the dappled cotton one- the colors just look so soft.

oooh, these are beautiful! They also look really similar to the scarves the sell downtown to raise money from kids from loas.

These are so wonderful! I just inherited a loom and I can't wait to have it warped so that I can start making things as beautiful as yours!

Thankyou all for the compliments, the twill isnot an undulating one, it's just a mistake of beating and tension in the warp. unfortunately  It wasn't a really well balanced twill.  Undecided

bye!

You can't talk me out of it!

Bravo!

Your edges are so straight!  I can never make my edges straight.  It all looks so beautifully uniform.

I think that selvedges are that field where handweaving can learn from power looms and machine weaving. I use that gold rule: exactly double the weft yarns for 1 cm on the left and on the right.
I.e.: I've a plain weave, with a sley reduction of 4 epi, then I'll prepare the selvedges as 8 epi. It works, and works quite well with mostly yarns. you can also insert one or two strings of bigger (or stronger) yarn and weight them more than the rest of the weft..
try and try, is a good rule too.

Thanks!
