I have a very small house and no extra rooms in my house for a crafting room. I was using my daughters room but now she and my son need to not share a room anymore so I am losing my space. I have considered buying one of those large outdoor sheds but my concern is the weather and bugs.  I live in Texas and we get hot even though I can put one of those window ac's, it will be hot when I'm not in it working. I also worry about bugs getting into my fabric. I don't know what to do. Sad

I have so many supplies and no room.

I hear ya! My craft space is overflowing.

I've considered buying one of those outdoor sheds too but I have the same concerns that you do. I'm sure if you were careful about how you stored things you'd be okay. I wouldn't leave anything too exposed but if you had fabric and other crafty bits in plastic bins I would think it would be safe from bugs.

What about art space? In Seattle there are a bunch of buildings that rent cheap spaces to arts/crafts people.

Well, I think our plan will betokened convert our garage into a craft/office space. Our HOA won't allow us to remove the garage door so we will convert up to the door. We can re route The ac duct so we can cool and heat the room. This will work out great since hubby works from home and works out of our bedroom? He is in the bedroom for 8 hours work and 8-10 hours sleep. That's barely any time out of there.lol

I've thought of the same thing, some of my crafts are messy to the point that I'm getting ready to put a counter up in my garage. I can get wax and soap out of carpet, it's plaster that worries me. I haven't started pouring plaster yet because as clumsy as I am I'm afraid to pour it over carpet. Our summers in North Carolina get really hot to, I think the heat index just for today is around 102, and I wouldn't want to keep candle wax out in that. Don't get me started about bugs, a spider climbed out from under a rack when I was working in a clothing store and they heard me scream on the other side of the store
