I just finished these 4 wee books. I've really enjoyed working on them because I'm terrible with colour. I tend to use brown and grunge things up a lot so to make bright little things is sort of nice Smiley They're sort of juicy

Each of them measures around 3" tall and is filled with painted re-purposed book pages, stamps, bits of torn up money, buttons, ribbons and all sorts.

My first inclination when I saw these books was: "What can they be used for?"
Then as I saw more pictures of them, and the interiors, my thought changed to: "Doesn't matter if they have 'a use'. Aren't they pretty!"
(There was music along with the second thought as well. "What are they good for? ... Absolutely nuthin'. ")

Some things are just made to look pretty, and these are them. (Apologies if they have some sort of practical value that I have missed.)

Cheesy They have no practical value whatsoever.

Really, I usually just make what pops into my head and very, very rarely does that include making anything that has a use or purpose other than to be looked at and to be nonsensical.

They're lovely! I would love to have something like that on my coffee table, just to be fascinated by.

Very nice! I've enjoy looking at all your various techniques for the little book covers and pages. I see something different each time I view them.

I love your wee books, they're very interesting and beautiful.

They're the kind of things that I would look at over and over again and you can be sure of seeing something new each time!

Love them, they would be good "fidgets" for times when waiting in line, on the bus, or anytime you have idle hands! I shall try to make some, I love random abstract tactile things! TY for the inspiration!

Oh wow, I love these.  The textures and colours are amazing, and they just look so...touchable.  I want to pick them up and flip through them and pet them through my monitor!
