Can we use a LV that is longer than 8" if it can be squished down or folded to fit?

I was wondering this myself. I just realized that the LV I've been working on (a jellyfish) is over 8" because I made some of the tentacles a bit too long. What's the official decision on this rule?

The reason we have a size limit is because of both postage costs and the fact that your LV is supposed to travel EVERYWHERE with you! Nobody is going to want to lug around something too big that doesn't easily fit in a bag.

The size limit isn't set in stone and things that squish down should be fine - especially with something that has tentacles.

But please post photos - we've asked you to do so, because that way we can know if there are any LV's which might not be suitable.

Below is a picture of Bubbles as I sent her off last swap.

The longer spiral tentacle (the one on the LV contract) makes her length nearly 12". But the bell or head of the jellyfish is just a wee bit over 4" round. When she is all squished up Bubbles is about the size of a mens pair of socks folded.

Bubbles is the perfect example! She's tiny - those tentacles don't count at all!   Thanks Nat.

I get to host Icebox for the 3rd time    I miss him! I haven't seen him since the beginning of September! He is definitely a family member now and I am just uber excited for him to tell me what he has been up to since we last saw each other.
