Just Checking in!  Hatty and I had a great time at Comic Con.  The lines were super long but we saw lots!!

Going to Las Vegas in a couple weeks!  Hopefully we will have recuperated by that time.

Winnie has been a big help with the move! Two days until we make the big journey back home! And then shortly after off to a new home in a new state! We're both excited!

I just keep posting and updating. *loving Craftster after being away for too long*

First of all, some good swap-related news. As I've said before, I'm leaving for the Belgian seaside on Monday. But we have Internet access there, and because my sis has a paper to write, I'm taking the laptop with me. So I'll be checking in whilst away!

And then, not so swap-related, but I'm thrilled, so I have to share. When I went to uni, I met with 7 other girls who were very much into crafting. Especially knitting and crocheting. It was easily decided to make our own group (Purl & Stitch) and to come together every week to craft. We did this in public, and we were stared at, you can't imagine! The elderly people there liked it though. Either way, one of the girls had a relationship with an American guy, and when he came to Belgium to live together and earn a living, they got married to make sure our government wouldn't send him back. They are an amazing couple, and I love them dearly. Two years ago, they went away to China, and they have lived there eversince. BUT... They're moving back to America next year, in summer. And since we don't see each other that often, the 7 other of us have decided to travel to America as well. Yay! Two weeks in California, visiting Vegas and the Gran Canyon. I'm going to start saving already, I so don't want to miss this. One glitch... The couple is trying to get pregnant as well, and if all goes well/wrong (depends on the point of view Wink) she'll be pregnant during the move, and she'd rather give birth in Belgium. Oh well, either way, I'm going to be happy!

oooo, I may have been stalking the thread and not posting enough... sorry guys.

I'm putting together a digital scrapbook of Ellie's adventures this weekend so I will def be able to put up some photos.

Ellie and I have been Costco Crazy this week... Costco has opened in Canberra and I couldn't be happier to have more competition here in Canberra it is seriously crazy what we pay for groceries. I was watching 60mins or ACN (a 60min like show) a few months ago and they were saying how Australian's pay more in everyday items, they compared everyday items like Coffee, Butter, Milk, ground beef (mince), chicken etc between the UK, US and Australia. And I was shocked, so the more competition the better. I've been so excited, 60 rolls of kleenex 3ply toilet paper for $21.98 - normally for that toilet paper we would pay $5.80ish for 6 rolls.

I'm checking in for the week.  It's been kinda quiet.  But I'm heading off to my trip to New York so I should have some great pic of Walter in the Finger Lakes Wine Country of New York when I get back next week.
See ya!
