Heirloom
« on: June 05, 2011 09:46:08 PM »

A 4,000 square foot retail space in a historic building in downtown Claremont, Heirloom will offer unique vintage treasures along with hand crafted works from local and regional artisans. Each vendor will be selected to ensure that all of the items in Heirloom are carefully handmade and reflect a high quality of craftsmanship.

Providing a one-of-a-kind retail experience, Heirloom will host weekly classes in everything from repurposing a garage sale gem to creating original pieces of art.

Our vision of Heirloom is a gathering place for vintage collectors and artisans who seek the opportunity to establish affordable storefronts in a community of like-minded, creative individuals. Our goal is simple -- bring people to the store and help you sell your work.

Well be highlighting new acquisitions in high traffic areas of the store. Well be offering classes on crafting, jewelry making and furniture rehabbing. People will always be encouraged to stay and listen to music of their choice in our gallery / lounge, upstairs, complete with its own self service record player.

Summer nights will be a big attraction, especially during the Claremont Art Walk and the Friday night Music In The Village series that brings shoppers into town. The neighborhood is already home to vintage clothing stores, craft shops and boutiques that attract progressive-minded clientele with discerning taste.
