well, garters on top of clothing ARE a style thing for some goth-genres.. so go ahead, we promise we won't laugh (..a lot)  Wink

it's nice! i'm trying to make one as well, need one with shorter ... strings? Cheesy ehm. the ones that hold the socks, anyway. on my belt they are too long, and thus they would show under a short skirt, so i need a belt that can be worn with short skirts. Smiley

amberlybites, no it's not terribly hard, and you can "fake it" and mostly just put an elastic band and those sock-strings and cover it up with a lace band all scrunched. not hard at all! i think if you can sew a bag/pencil case/something of that sort, then you can def pull off sewing one (or six) of these!
