Inspired by Cheytown's tutorial.  I have little experience making clothing, and I'm really excited about how these turned out.  I used two of my husband's "retired" shirts.

The pattern didn't photograph well; it's a black and tan plaid,.

The following dress is lined and finished with homemade bias tape; both firsts for me.

they are adorable!im imagining a bright pink shirt under the first one with striped socks. could you share the tute so i can make one for my sister?

They are both so cute!  and mad props to you on the homemade bias tape.  i sew a lot and have forced myself to reach a comfort level with it, but bias tape is really my mortal enemy.   Angry   Cheesy
