I love the frame!

I just noticed my package arrived!  I send to my family's house because our apt complex is horrible with packages.  Usually they tell me when it's here, but they didn't!  Ugh.  Mad dash there, then to work.  Pictures this weekend.  Sooo excited!!

also- here's as best as i could get of a close up of the bracelet i made her. it's from an old romance comic book i had of a guy trying to fight another guy over a woman, so i thought it fit with the "he who angers you controls you" theme.

he's saying "i'll get that guy!"

My package arrived with two wonderful pieces.....

This amazing hoop which pictures my most favourite quote

'To growing children give two things.... one is roots the other wings'

The stitching is amazing and it depicts the saying beautifully! I am very proud indeed to be hanging this in my home xxxxx

The second was a fab sign with the 'Keep Calm and Carry On' saying one side and 'Now Panic and Freak Out' on the other!! Such a fantastic idea and was finished in a distressed shabby chic frame!! The whole thing suited me perfectly!!!Unfortunately the posties werent very delicate and the glass was broken into pieces so I am unable to post pics, but I'm hoping Butweed may have taken a pic so you can all see it Smiley

Thanks again for a gorgeous package Smiley

Lilak-Tygress already posted the awesomeness that she sent me, but I'll post up some more pictures of the amazing stuff she sent me. I was spoiled Smiley Sorry for the delay in posting pics. The baby is walking now so things are mysteriously disappearing from the "safe" places I put them.

For my Captain Hook quotes, she sent this tray The quote around the rim is "So, Pan," said Hook at last, "this is all your doing." "Ay, James Hook," came the stern answer, "it is all my doing." "Proud and insolent youth," said Hook, "prepare to meet thy doom." "Dark and sinister man," Peter answered, "have at thee." and then on the third tray in it says "After all, what would the world be like without Captain James Hook?" This is awesome. I have it right by my bed. I have a sick and twisted love of Captain Hook. I'm in the process of writing a novel about him.

Here's an awesome pirate cat book-end with the quote Books can be possessive, cant they? Youre walking around in a bookstore and a certain one will jump out at you, like it had moved there on its own, just to get your attention. Sometimes whats inside will change your life, but sometimes you dont even have to read it. Sometimes its a comfort just to have a book around. Many of these books havent even had their spines cracked. Why do you buy books you dont even read? our daughter asks us. Thats like asking someone who lives alone why they bought a cat. For company, of course." on it.

Here's the beautiful frame with my mantra on it "Everything will be ok in the end, if it's not ok, then it's not the end." on it. I looove the colors in this. Its very natural and soothing. The baby and I are doing a photoshoot next week and I'm going to put on of the pics of us in it.

And finally, an awesome Doctor Who altoid tin. It has the quote from the episode "Family of Blood" that goes "He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the centre of time and can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful." It's just the perfect description of the Doctor.
