Finally finished this yesterday! I thought the mum-to-be (now new mum!) deserved a treat so I used a bottle of bubbly to support the layers of nappies. I made a new label for the bottle using a piece of the paper I used to cover the cake, you can't quite see it but the white says Congratulations and underneath in gold it says You've changed at least 80 nappies (thats how many are in the cake).



it was pretty easy to make, the longest part was rolling up all the nappies...



The trickiest thing was covering the nappies in paper once they were placed around the bottle, i was terrified the whole thing was gonna fall apart! Fortunately it survived, and looks quite fancy Smiley





The cupcake socks worked really well and they look SO cute. I used this video tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-V_P7drUgg



and finally a close-up of the bunting because I love it. The baby's name is Layla.
