Ahh, summer! What a better time to craft and work on some of those projects that have been abandoned over the past  few years.

This little gal has been in my WIP bag for a while, and yesterday I finally finished her!

Then she went after the plants in the yard...

She's just over a foot tall, and her legs are strengthened with pencils (I didn't have any stiff wire), but her neck supports itself with the stitches and stuffing.

Thanks! To make the spots, I just alternated using yellow and orange, carrying all the threads inside the piece instead of cutting all the loose ends (saved a lot of yarn that way).

Does anybody have any suggestions as to how to better connect the legs to the body on future pieces? I'm happy with the neck seam, but the leg seams are not as smooth.
