I'm in!  I'm gonna have to start from roving -- my only raw fleeces are too dark brown to dye.

We can choose any old shawl or shrug pattern we wish, right?

Alpaca okay too? I'm rolling in the stuff!

I'm due with my first baby next Saturday, so all this might be some elaborate ambitious goal for me, we'll see! I really want to play!

Alpaca would be fine.  Best of luck with the new baby!  you never know what you can do until you try!  I'll be mighty impressed if you do get an entry in though, those little ones are more work then you'd think, but oh so worth it Cheesy  Hopefully you get a sleeper Smiley

I cleaned my craft room today and found a bag of undyed fiber that I had totally forgotten about!  Perfect for this!  Not sure how much I'll need...I think I'll go research some patterns now. Smiley

I would LOVE to participate! I've got some raw llama wool I'm trying to force myself to process...this might push me enough. I've never participated in a challenge or even a CAL so maybe it'll be good. Just need to REMEMBER to do it!

I did a test bobbin of wool the other day and washed it and dried and I think it came out just about how I want it. I am going to spin up 4 more (well, 3 more, I already have 1) bobbins worth, wash them all at the same time, and then see where I want to go from there. Dyeing or crocheting? Hm, maybe I should go see about those black walnuts?
