You're welcome, I'm a newbie at this too, so it's something I bookmarked recently. Wink

I'm still spinning...I have no idea yet what I'll be making so I just make sure to have enough yarn. But this was the perfect excuse to buy a new spindle on Etsy; a Turkish one!  Wink

Oh and just found a book on Amazon about natural dyeing, it's called Wild Colour by Jenny Dean (new edition). It looks very interesting. Anyone who already has it?

My wool is dried but I'm not completely happy with how the Orange came out....I may need to overdye to achieve the right color.  Not really a problem since its so hot here I don't feel much like spinning this week!

Here I was thinking we had to be done by July 31st... Oh well! I don't know if what I am making will count, but I am going to finish it anyway. I also know for a fact I didn't spin enough, 5 bobbins won't do at all! I'm already crocheting quite a bit on it, and if it doesn't count then I guess I just have to start over. *sigh* Oh no, how will I ever live with that? (why are there no html codes for sarcasm?) I'm thinking I want to dye the finished product a teal color, but I'm also thinking I want to try the Wilton's method and we'll see if I can make teal with whatever colors they have. Hopefully going to HL tomorrow! But at least now I know I have enough time to start over when I'm done with this. Because I'm not going to fool myself, I really think this won't count as a "shawl" Sad
