Just a basic pair of linen shorts, flat in front, elastic in back.



I just modified a pattern I already had for elastic-waist pants. Basically, the front pattern piece needs to be made narrower because you're not gathering the front with elastic. I like the way they look. Just as easy to make as elastic-waist pants, but slightly dressier and more tailored-looking.
